Promoting the goals of a High Performance School and sustainable landscape solutions, Golden Associates has designed a green roof on the new multi-purpose building at the existing Montclair elementary school in the City of Oakland.

The dynamic design of sedums and native grasses, as well as a decorative gravel path (for maintenance access), improves thermal conditions inside the building, reduces energy costs, enhances the visual appearance, increases biodiversity and wildlife habitat, and enhances the education opportunities for both students and visitors. |
