Funded by MTC and the City, the expressed purpose of the project was to provide a strong pedestrian connection between the San Leandro Bart Station and the San Leandro Downtown Shopping District.

Golden Associates achieved this goal by improving pedestrian safety, slowing vehicular traffic, enhancing the street appearance, and providing custom site improvements which helped direct the pedestrian toward the Central Business District.

Golden Associates developed a plan which received the full endorsement of the owner. It has achieved our design objectives and will assist in furthering the economic revitalization of the Downtown Shopping District.”
